“ Beautiful Chicago style bar and grill. The food was amazing. Would recommend it to anybody. ”
“ We visited this restaurant twice and had great experiences each time. Our first visit was with a group of five, and the second time we came with nine people. The restaurant has a fun and unique decor, with elements like Portapotties as the doors to the restrooms, which added a quirky touch to the ambiance. During our first visit, I tried the Truckstop burger with their homemade chips, which was delicious. Most of us enjoyed the food, although a few found some dishes either lacking in flavor or overwhelmed by a particular ingredient. Unfortunately, I dont recall the specific dishes that didnt meet expectations, but the overall dining experience was positive. The restaurant did a great job accommodating our groups dietary needs. We had two people with nut allergies and one vegetarian, and they all ate happily with no issues afterwards. This attention to dietary restrictions was impressive and much appreciated. Despite the restaurant being busy and our group being large, the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those passing through. ”
“ Great food, great service, great atmosphere. An all around great place to eat. DT Kirbys serves a Chicago style hot dog that is fantastic. Their chips are made at the restaurant. Kirbys Breaded Mushrooms are seriously the only Mushrooms that I like. And the dipping sauce Kirbys own Awesome Sauce goes Perfectly with the Breaded Mushrooms. If I had a higher rating scale I would definitely use it here. I give DT Kirbys Three thumbs up ”
“ The menu here was pretty creative in my opinion, but the Chicago dog I ordered was spot on for that type of hotdog. My meal tasted great. The service was a bit sluggish for the middle of a regular day, but it was friendly at least. I appreciate DT Kirbys for the dive bar that it is, and its one with exceptional food and long hours. ”

We were all impressed with the quality of the food and large portions, I especially loved the fried mushrooms and Reuben meal.
